La studiosa aveva colto come la peculiarità di questa Bilderbibel risiedesse non soltanto nelle 241 tavole che Küsel aveva inserito come corredo e sfondo delle molte storie tratte dal vecchio e dal nuovo testamento, quanto nella selezione delle fonti iconografiche. the contribution identifies and analyzes the success and operational fallout in Sicilian architecture of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, of models for altars disseminated through the press. The theme of the altars indeed presents punctual connections with the world of model prints. As in other cases, these engravings were not only aimed at architects but were also intended for a wider world of operators, especially wood sculptors. Between the end of the seventeenth century and the first half of the eighteenth century, the project area in question knows mutations starting from new texts.

Throughout the present research I intend to demonstrate the powerful link between the vocal practice in accompanied monody and the way Early Italian violin music ought to be interpreted. Due to the scarce amount of articulation and ornamentation in this music, I consider that historical criteria should be found in order to back up the subjective choices in its performance. According to this, I focus on reviewing sources that describe the vocal practice around 1600, but also contemporary sources in which we can find instructions addressed to bow instruments. This study deals briefly with the content of Format-Büchlein, printed in Graz between 1670 and 1677, a work on different book formats, although it also includes many other considerations on the art of printing. I comment on some of the illustrations on typographical matters that are included in the work.
